DS-MAX Properties Pvt. Ltd. organized a “Mass Marriage” program in collaboration with Aashra Foundation and KVS Charitable Trust on 5^th May 2014 at Sri Muruga Matha, Chitradurga. A total of 41 couples tied knot during this auspicious occasion.

 

On an average, about 41 couples entered into married life without any expenses. It was a privilege for everyone who was ill-afford to bear the cost of marriage. People from all class, caste and creed enjoyed this facility. This initiative also facilitated inter-caste marriages and widow marriages.

The Executive Director of DS-MAX Mr. S.P. Dayanand along with other DS-MAX staff was present during the auspicious occasion. 

During the event Shri Shivamurthy Muruga Sharanaru spoke few words addressing the couples: 

He stated that couples should always have mutual understanding and respect each other to lead a contented life. He also stated that the both husband and wife should share the family responsibilities equally. The husband should not feel inferior or superior to his wife under any circumstances. The in-laws should also treat them like their children and encourage them to strive for betterment of the family.

The Swamiji also advised the newly married couples to give top priority to educate their children in order to ensure bright future for them in the present competitive world. “As the world is advancing, the talented persons are respected more and are being offered good jobs and salaries, so the parents should educate their children”, he added.

Celebration with a difference

It was a noble day for a noble cause. Yes, it was Kashvi’s birthday , which was celebrated differently with blessings of all the people around.

When the whole world celebrate their birthdays’ spending large amount of money lavishly, this little child’s birthday served a purpose to the deprived section of the society.

 At Modi Hospital:

The Founder and Chairman Dr. K.V. Satish’s simple yet elegant entry along with his family won many hearts around Modi Hospital.

Kashvi, Chairman’s daughter met eye cataract patients and distributed fruits and gifts to them with great respect and courtesy. Her beautiful smile brought cheer in everyone’s face. All the patients blessed Kashvi for longevity and happiness.

Dr. K.V. Satish spoke few words:

“It’s a great pleasure to see that a large number of people from the remote villages got their eye cataract surgery done. And this wouldn’t have been possible without Modi Hospital’s enduring cooperation. My staff has been working hard throughout and I am very thankful to them”.

Addressing the Eye Cataract Patients:

“We in association with Modi Hospital have served our purpose by helping you all in getting your eye cataract surgery done. We all are blessed when we give and accept gratefully. Now how are you going to help others? Helping is not just by offering money, but by spreading love. If you have stopped speaking to your sisters and brothers or any of your loved ones, just go ahead and speak to them. Do not develop enmity with anyone. Spreading love and joy around you is the greatest help that you offer. Hence all of you go ahead and spread love and joy everywhere” were the words spoken by Dr. K.V. Satish.

At Indira Gandhi Hospital:

Kashvi Satish distributed different kinds of toys to all the children with heart disease, AIDS and other rare ailments. Children were very delighted to take the gifts. Her warmth smile spread amongst the children that made them loved and cared.

 

At Kidwai Hospital:

Food donation was done for all the cancer patients and housekeeping staff by Dr.K.V Satish and other DS-MAX family members. Latter, different kinds of toys were distributed for all the Child Cancer Patients. For some time, all the children were engaged playing with the toys forgetting their illness. 

Helping others is not an obligation. It's a conscious decision, driven be a sense of responsibility.
