Yamaleela 2 Platinum Disc Audio Function

Yamaleela 2 Platinum Disc Audio Function

The platinum disc function of 'Yamaleela 2', named as "Paatala Panduga - Paadukundam Haayigaa" was held at Park Hyatt in Hyderabad on 21st Nov 2014.

Ali, Hero of Yamaleela was honored at the event. He said, “The opening of 'Yamaleela' was held on Feb 11th. The shooting continued till March end and the movie released in April third week. I felt very happy when I saw the 365 days shield of my film beside the great ANR's 'Premabhishekam'. E.V.V.Satyanarayana and S.V.Krishna Reddy are my gurus. When I acted as hero in 'Yamaleela', many thought I will continue as hero. But I know that a comedian should be a comedian, villain should be villain and a hero should be a hero. Without knowing this many actors are becoming directors and producers in the recent past and ruining their lives. I will be ever thankful to S.V. Krishna Reddy for making me a hero".

S.V. Krishna Reddy, Director praised Mohan Babu for his commitment and said, "Mohan Babu is a director's actor. He does what the director wants. I was surprised by his commitment. He used to sit with all those heavy ornaments for hours. He recently said that he will never act again in Yama roles. He should take back his statements. Because there is no actor now who can do that role as perfectly as him. After the great NTR, it is only Mohan Babu who can do such roles well".

Dil Raju, Producer and Distributor said, "I don't know anything about industry in 1994, when 'Yamaleela' was released. I saw the film as a normal audience. I loved the film and saw it repeatedly for the Sirilolikinche song. In the same year I entered the industry. S.V. Krishna Reddy is a great director. I've been trying to distribute his film for a long time. But I couldn't do it. But I am very happy that he acted in one of our films. I couldn't believe that I had the privilege to share stage with such a good director and I gave him a shield. I wish 'Yamaleela 2' team all the very best".

Collection King Mohan Babu said, "I asked S.V.Krishna Reddy to do a film in my banner long time back. But I couldn't do it as I wasn't ready to give the amount he quoted. But now I am happy that I worked with him. He is such a good director that he explains everything very clearly to the actor and it becomes easy for the actor. I am fortunate to have worked with him. K.V. Satish looks like a promising hero. He looks very confident. Even I was not as confident as him for my first film. I hope he will act in many more successful films. My first film, 'Swargam Narakam' completes 39 years tomorrow. It is only because of the blessings of my guru Dasari Narayana Rao and NTR that a middle class man, who didn't have food, money and even slippers in Chennai, was able to so many films".

Dr. K.V. Satish, Hero of Yamaleela 2 said “I am happy to see top artists on the stage in live. We had decided to make a block buster hit when audio was made”. He also gave few examples of significance attached in the things which are made by themselves in their home rather than buying it from outside. He related those examples to S.V. Krishna Reddy, the way he made the movie all by him with own music composition. The efforts of the director gave us the confidence that the movie would be a block buster. “I am seeing that result today in this audio’s success. Most of the people are also telling that the songs are so good to listen, then how it would be watching the songs with the visuals. You will find visual entertainment as Mohan Babu is there in 2 songs. Over 5 crores has been spent only for songs”
Everyone who attended wished the team all the very best.

Dr. K.V.Satish, Dr.Mohan Babu, Ali, Dil Raju, S.V.Krishna Reddy, Achi Reddy, Gautam Raju, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Venu Madhav and many others attended the event.

The Chief Guest of the day, President of Kannada Sahitya Parishat spoke few of his valuable words “DS-MAX is not only building the houses, but is also attracting the hearts of all the Kannadigas. Honoring the Kannada’s excellent senior literary scholars who have enriched our literature has brought a special glaze to this event. I am extremely privileged to chair this event headed by Dr. Baraguru Ramachandrappa to honor these great literary scholars Dr. H. Girijamma, Medicine Writer from Davanagere, Shri. S. Raghunath famous for his literary works in Kannada and Telugu, Shri. R. G. Halli Nagaraj, Literary Scholar, Prof. Samata Deshmane, Dalits Literary Scholar from Gulbarga, Shri. Satish Kulkarni, Reviewer and Poet from Haveri. They are the great scholars who have ‘given rise to rebellion literary organization, tone of deprived section, thinkers and guides of many ideas, won the hearts of everyone’. DS-MAX is not a money making builder. Let the firm flourish in building the houses in Karnataka, and grow with great heights, power and an embouchure for lower-class people. I also wish all the awardees for winning such prestigious awards. I am very happy that DS-MAX is honoring these great personalities. I also expect you all to wait for Kannada, Foster the Kannada and Build the Kannada
A special honor was conferred upon Dr. Nadoja Baraguru Ramachandrappa who is a noted Indian Writer and Film Director (Kannada Industry)
Dr. Nadoja Baraguru Ramachandrappa gave his valuable speech as “Salutations, Usually I wouldn’t participate in Nov 1st Kannada Rajyotsava Celebrations. Listening to this, do not think that I am against Kannada. I would usually be in audience and experiencing Kannada at Schools or any Government oriented Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations. However I was invited by my dearest friend R. J. Halli Nagaraj, and then contacted by Mr. S.P. Dayanand and Swami, hence bound with friendship I am participating in this function as a guest and not an audience. I violated my official and unofficial law of being in audience due to my love for friendship. As per Pundalika Halambi, a company which is building the buildings is also building Kannada has brought joy to me. Our country rather than building is more into demolishing context. We are building the buildings but we are not building our hearts, breaking the hearts, creating hatred in between culture, religion, language. More importantly we are building poisonous walls in between people. This doesn’t mean that there is goodness at all. This program is the evidence for the righteousness. Hence we should start building the hearts of people. Everything is a specialty here as all the great personalities are sitting here.Love and resistance is my values. There is both social justice and regional justice in this DS-MAX Sahitya Shree Award. Most importantly there is talent justice. Keeping talent as criteria identifying and prioritizing the social and regional justice, DS-MAX has done a wonderful job; I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to this company. Language must become the foundation affiliated with life. If there is no life in the language, then that would be meaningless. Hence, to build a life, an environment that subtends the confidence should be created by Kannada language’. He also shared his valuable speech on the awardees achievements with the audiences.
Dr. H. Girijamma spoke few words “I am very thankful to all my elite friends and Dr. K.V. Satish in this platform. I am very surprised to see the ceremony here and that too for DS-MAX which has disentombed us like how Mustard is chosen out of Ragi. I am very happy that they searched and invited us to honor here. My blessings are always there for Dr. K.V. Satish”.

Huge round of applause and whistles were given to Shri. Satish Kulkarni, Reviewer and Poet from Haveri who sang a beautiful song which goes like this 'Kattatheva Navu Kattatheva....' He cultivated a nostalgic feeling in people with his mellifluous voice...

Vote of thanks was given by Mr. Arun Kumar, Director and CEO.

Later, the cultural program was graced by humor performance, mimicry and magic show. The Comedy Queen Sudhu Baraguru entertained the audiences with her wit. Everyone barely knew how time went away. She made everyone nostalgic about Karnataka.
The audience thoroughly enjoyed the comedy entertainment by Sudha Baraguru, Mimicry by Mahesh and also the magic show.

Dr. K.V. Satish, the Founder and Chairman spoke few valuable and informative words “A small guy from Muslim family of about 7-8 years missed his parents. Somehow he found out another family who were Hindus. He was nurtured for 10-15 years in Hindu family and celebrated all the Hindu festivals as his own culture; however he had not forgotten that he was a Muslim, so he followed Muslim culture also respecting Hindu culture. Why I told this story is because; in the same way a boy came from Andhra to Karnataka (which resembled his own story). The boy stayed in Karnataka for 10 years and has now started following and respecting the Kannada culture. He also achieved Great Son of Karnataka Award. Hence there is no differences between religions, states etc. The respect for the states should be in the heart, but first and foremost we are Indians, we are from one world. We should be as good human being. The way I was given home when I was jobless, the same way we have to give houses to others, we should be giving job opportunities to everyone with no difference in caste, creed, religion, state etc. Though we are from different states, we should follow and respect the culture of the current dwelling state. We all should be in one family that is human family”.
It was a great surprise to watch the young and talented singer of Sandalwood Naveen Sajju who came down to entertain the DS-MAX family through his sweet voice. He melodiously sang many songs related to Kannada Rajyotsava and entertained the crowd. DS-MAX staff enthralled the audiences through their dance performances.

The auspicious day finally ended with the honoring of Naveen Sajju at the dais and delicious lunch was also arranged to everyone who were present at the occassion.
