"Award for Excellence"- organized by All India Conference of Intellectuals

An award function to felicitate “Award for Excellence” to the intellectuals was organized by All India Conference of Intellectuals in TAJ WEST END Hotel, Bangalore on 4/6/014, 7.00 PM.

It was a privilege that Mauritius President felicitated Mr. S.P. Dayanand. Yet it was another feather in the hat of DS-MAX.

President of the Republic of Mauritius Rajkeswur Purryag presented the “Award for Excellence” to Mr. S.P. Dayanand, Executive Director of DS-MAX Properties Pvt. Ltd., for his outstanding contribution towards “India-Mauritius Relations & Emerging Trends in Improving Economy” organized by All India Conference of Intellectuals.

President of the Republic of Mauritius ‘Rajkeswur Purryag’ remarked during the occasion:

“Many countries in the world need to learn from the Indian democracy that held general elections peacefully for over five weeks”. Citing the election of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister despite his humble background, Purryag said he too came from a humble beginning, having been born in a hut. “India is a land of equal opportunities irrespective of any discrimination,” he said. The President also said education played an important role in improving conditions in any country and in his country; education was free to everyone up to a certain level. “It is the only way out of poverty”, he said.

The presence of prominent intellectuals in the award function was like a feast to everyone. The Award for Excellence was also presented to Karnataka High Court Judge H.G. Ramesh, Minister R.V. Deshpande, Mysore University Vice-Chancellor K.S. Rangappa, IPS officer Harishekaran, the former IPS officer K.C. Ramamurthy, Priya Sudeep, Social Activist and others.
